The DRU Global range has been developed jointly in the UK and Netherlands. This follows extensive research among consumers, retailers and energy consultants.

A number of useful features have been built into the fires to make them suitable for UK and Irish households.

First, they all conform to standard chimneybreast width, so there is no need to build a false chimney and they can transform a tired-looking chimneybreast into a vibrant new fireplace.

Secondly, they are available in a selection of balanced flue and conventional flue formats. The conventional Global 70XT CF and 90 CF versions can even be installed without flue liners subject to inspection.

There is great flexibility in the range, with a wide choice of fire beds, interior finishes, surrounds and frames to suit almost any kind of home setting.

The balanced flue versions, Global 70, 70XT and 100 include the unique DRU Maxvent system. This provides fan-assisted convection in order to boost the heat outputs of the fires during very cold conditions.

Finally, most of the Global fires are priced at a mid-market level, retailing at under £2000.00.
