DRU acquires leading wood stove manufacturer

DRU is pleased to announce the acquisition of leading Dutch wood stove manufacturer, Dik Geurts Fireplaces.

The company began over 26 years ago. It has now grown to become a market leader in the exclusive fireplaces and stoves sector. The ever-increasing growth of recent years has led the management to decide on a new direction with a suitable partner.

Both companies will now operate under the ownership of DRU. They compliment each other excellently; DRU as a specialist in gas appliances and Dik Geurts in wood-burning stoves.

The intention is that both companies retain their own identities. A number of internal processes will be integrated in order to be able to profit from the expertise in each organisation. The ultimate aim is to make the acquisition a huge success for all customers.

Dik Geurts fireplaces and stoves will soon be increased with a number of new models. They will have their own durable and timeless look. The company produces free-standing stoves, hanging stoves, inset wood fires and wood burning systems that can be connected to the household central heating.
